Amazon, Google, Apple: The Giants Are Moving

Post by nurmohammadkhan »

It is no secret that tech giants are investing heavily in Digital Health and it is something that should make us think, it is a very clear signal of a trend that promises a very prosperous future.

Let's start with Amazon , which has decided to put its know-how on the distribution network into play. The company has recently formed a joint venture with Berkshire Hathaway and JP Morgan Chase that has the ambitious goal of optimizing and reforming from the very roots the distribution methods of Healthcare devices throughout the United States .

Let's move on to the Google front , the company that perhaps has the most albania phone data pervasive and long-term strategy of penetration in the healthcare sector. A strategy that is the child, first and foremost, of the Google Wear department , launched in 2014, but which, today more than ever, looks to the future:

there is, for example, the DeepMind unit , which is applying the most advanced Artificial Intelligence systems in the field of digital health;
there is also Verily , another subsidiary of Google (via Alphabet), entirely dedicated to the so-called Life Sciences;
or, Calico , which specifically deals with issues related to aging (always in the Alphabet galaxy);
Last but not least, an entire department dedicated to the sector was created, called Google Health.
Finally, Apple , which has a strategy that is perhaps less visionary, but more based on the present. The central point is to expand the functionality of its wearable devices , such as Apple Watch, increasingly directing them towards Healthcare.

In conclusion: we have seen what Digital Health is and why it has already become one of the strongest trends of the immediate future. What we must always keep in mind is this: at the center of digital transformation are data, of course, but from data we must move to people and what people have most precious is, precisely, health.
