Apple would like to revitalize its family of tablets with its new foldable iPad

Post by Bappy10 »

Foldable smartphones and tablets are becoming increasingly ubiquitous, and while their popularity has skyrocketed in recent years, Apple has deliberately refused to jump on the bandwagon (at least until now).

The Apple company seems to have succumbed to the charms of foldable devices and could have its first iPad with a flexible screen in the works.

This is suggested by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo , who claims that the first foldable device from the Cupertino company will be the iPad , which would compete in the market with similar tablets from brands such as Lenovo or ASUS.

While Kuo does not specify what type of panel the first foldable iPad from the Apple norway number data company will use, everything indicates that the sum of the screens could reach 20 inches . And one of the two screens could be used as a keyboard by the user.

The new gadget that Apple has in its pipeline will, in any case, have enough of its own character to differentiate itself from both the iPad and the MacBook. In addition, it will presumably be made of carbon with the ultimate aim of lightening the weight of the device and thus favouring its portability and ergonomics.

The features of Apple's first foldable iPad will be those already present in the tablets of the company led by Tim Cook , but in this case they will be more oriented towards multimedia features (applied both to creation and to the consumer sphere).

Apple could land the iPad in the increasingly booming market for foldable devices much earlier than initially expected, in 2024. The Cupertino company's haste to add a foldable iPad to its family of tablets could perhaps be related to the gloomy sales forecasts for this device in the coming months. Not in vain, iPad sales could suffer a 15% decline in 2023.

Apple's foldable iPad will also be joined by a new mini model and a Pro device that will finally be equipped with an OLED display.
