The harvesting campaign has started in Tambov Oblast. Among the first to begin harvesting winter wheat were the grain growers of Rasskazovsky Municipal District.

The village of Podosklyai. Here, one of the first in the district to begin the harvesting campaign was OOO Rasskazovo. The farmers will have to cultivate 580 hectares of winter wheat. Despite the weather conditions in May, the varieties of the crop planted on the farm were able to survive the frosts.

Aleksandr Khritinin, executive director of Rasskazovo LLC: “These are the varieties selected on our farm, we have three varieties of winter wheat: Grom, Moskovskaya 56, and Timiryazevskaya 150 – all of them are from our domestic producer, our varieties. And they have proven themselves, this year, with tough weather conditions, very well. Somewhere for all varieties, I think, the harvest will be above 50.”

Sergey Kotov has been working in the fields since he was young. He started with his father, and now he has been working for many years on the farm in the Rasskazovsky District. According to the combine operator, the most student database difficult thing in his profession is the weather conditions. And the rest is just a joy.

– Never. I tried working in Moscow as a driver, and then I came back here.

– Yes, yes, yes. A very convenient combine to operate, to repair, and generally powerful. This is my fourth combine, I started with a Niva, then I had a Yenisei combine.

Now our hero works on modern equipment. It collects grain crops quickly and without losses. And the driver's cabin is equipped with all the necessary equipment.

- Conveniences, radios are installed in each combine, so that they can talk to each other, you never know what might happen. All the combine settings are on the monitor. It has a touchscreen monitor, very easy to operate.

The farm will harvest in stages to avoid damage to crops. This year's yield is expected to be slightly lower than last year's due to reseeding of areas.
