The industry of the Tambov Region demonstrates high growth rates - by 12.8% for 8 months of 2024, which is 8.3% more than the average Russian values. This was reported at a weekly meeting of the Head of the Tambov Region Maxim Egorov by his deputy Natalia Makarevich.

the volume of investments in fixed capital of industrial production increased threefold and exceeded 10 billion rubles. The wages of workers in manufacturing industries increased by a quarter and amounted to 60 thousand rubles. Over 7 months of the current year, the volume of tax revenues to the Tambov Region budget from industrial enterprises increased by 20 percent and amounted to 5 billion rubles.

In 2024, a new priority production facility for the region, Metall doctor database Service LLC, was launched to produce large-section round and shaped pipes for the oil and gas industry, as well as for construction and mechanical engineering. 150 jobs were created.

Under the national project “Unmanned Aircraft Systems”, 289 million rubles were attracted to the region in 2024 to create specialized classes in a college and 17 schools in the region.

The federal project "Professionality" created the educational and production cluster "Industry 68" in the "Mechanical Engineering" sector. It helps to prepare qualified, sought-after specialists to meet the needs of industrial enterprises.

Denis Manturov was the first to visit one of Russia's leading enterprises, specializing in the production of navigation equipment based on laser gyroscopes. Currently, the plant employs more than 4,200 people. The First Deputy Prime Minister is told about the modernization of production. Over the past two years, the enterprise has invested over 4 billion rubles in its own development.

Alexey Kobzev, CNC machine operator-setter: “A lot of new machines of different types have appeared: grinding, turning, milling, even the most basic drilling machines have appeared for fitters. All of this certainly affects productivity, parts are transferred from old equipment to new, the quality of processing is increased, the time spent on manufacturing the part is reduced.”

Technical re-equipment affected many workshops. In total, the plant acquired about 600 new machines. Thanks to this, among other things, the volume of shipped products since the beginning of 2023 has grown by more than 20 percent - to 15.5 billion rubles.
