What I think about the value proposition

Post by mdsojolh444 »

A value proposition that has the merit of wanting to offer added value compared to sites that allow simple research / simple guides
In this respect, the name of the offer "The employment guide" should perhaps be reviewed to add the dimension of selecting job offers and thus demonstrate the centralization of the services offered by WTTJ.

What I think about user experience

Centralization results in a high level of cross-functionality of content between them – best practice: company files
On the other hand, in terms of searching for ads/offers, the functionalities are similar to those of the main job search sites – with some notable efforts such as 'apply via LinkedIn' which allows for greater speed.
How to work on differentiation in the way of presenting positions? of chinese overseas america database interacting with the employer? of matching one's CV with offers (see a tool like HireAbility = CV analysis and match making)? I would like a tribal, friendly appearance... to result in a more assertive differentiation in the way I search, apply...

Best practice to watch: Kudoz, the 'job tinder'

UX/UI Analysis of Welcome To The Jungle by the Yupeach Collective
First, we agree with Antoine Coubray on his comments about user experience!

We love the design of the page! Maybe a little close to the AirBnB style but you are right to use what works.

Colors, typography, spaces between blocks, no overload… we say ok!

The user experience is intuitive and the universe is super cool!

I would just say pay attention to a few elements that differentiate themselves from the visual identity:

On the article page, the first photo that encroaches on the bar is quite clumsy (too close to the titles, perhaps too much white outline), even if this has been seen on the homepage.
The scroll bar that appears and disappears awkwardly to the right of the search. (maybe only on PC) You can put it elsewhere or incorporate it all the time so that there is no unnecessary layout movement (with a customization in the style)
The profile picture on a company page is too "Facebook" and is quite different from the rest, you can find nicer ones I think.
Otherwise we had some doubts about the vocabulary, is it understandable at first glance by everyone? Do you have tests? If not, do it 😉Especially for "jungle", "tribe" is simpler.

We also wondered about the offbeat style of the logo, but on the other hand we like the contrast!

The little extra: The small, discreet and effective animations

The small minus: change the loading gif

Conversion Analysis of Welcome To The Jungle by Quentin Sureau
Home Page

Objective > Take visitors to research the tribes.

The term tribe is a bit surprising at first, but is contextualized enough that one can understand. The CTA is very visible.

Presentation of the tribes

Objective > Take the user to the tribe files

The page is generally efficient, even if the possibilities for segmenting tribes are quite poor.

Tribe Sheet

Objective > Take the user to the list of jobs.- The main CTA “APPLY” is not very visible, and its wording is surprising. We would rather expect a main action “See all offers”, as is the case at the heart of the file.

Conversely, at the heart of the file, it could be interesting to highlight only the latest jobs, but to allow people to apply for them directly, with an “apply” CTA for each job.
Be careful with the full width used only on the tribe sheet, which disrupts and breaks the hierarchy of elements (Titles, CTA) which is generally good on the site.
Conclusion: The tribe sheet is very pretty, but the key information is not very visible.

No email collection is available on the profile. If I am interested in this tribe, but no job offer matches me, I would like to be able to give my profile. It could be interesting for your clients to have access to the equivalent of "spontaneous applications".

Job sheet

Goal > Invite user to apply

The job description is generally simple and effective.

Other remarks

Presentation of Jobs

Searching by jobs, rather than by tribe, is not highlighted, while I think it is a complementary approach that suits a good number of users.

One idea would be to present it when searching by tribe.

XXX tribes for your search > Search by job.

Search engine

The search engine is very efficient and would benefit from being highlighted on the homepage, as well as on the /jobs and /tribe pages, where it could be centered.

This is my shortest review, for the simple reason that I found the site very effective overall.
